"Pregnancy and childbirth can be the greatest time and most fulfilling of a woman's
experiences. It is important that their contribution to life be a time of strength,
joy and happiness.
Incorporating bodywork and neuromuscular massage enables one to reduce physical and
mental tension, increase strength and endurance and experience ease and comfort
during pregnancy, childbirth and post partum."

What can I expect during my maternity massage?
You will be asked to fill out a brief medical history form, a release, and a
brief pregnancy history form.
During your massage, you will be on your side supported by special pillows and
wedges. These pillows and wedges will support your belly and legs, which will
prevent undue pressure on your hips. You will be covered with a sheet at all
times with only the area being worked on exposed. Olive oil is used as a
lubricant because it is good for the skin and has no odor, as so many pregnant
women are sensitive to smells.
