Massage is a gentle therapy that can relieve pain
and, in conjunction with medical attention, help heal certain conditions. In
some cases, massage can reduce or even eliminate the need for medication and/or
surgery.
Massage can:
• Charge and restore energy and creativity
• Release muscle tension
• Stimulate the release of endorphins
(your body’s natural pain killers)
• Increase circulation
• Improve muscle tone
• Improve concentration
• Improve immune system functions
• Improve sleep
• Hasten elimination of toxins in body
• Relax and relieve muscle spasm
• Relieve anxiety, anger, and depression
Your Personalized Plan will include...
On your first visit you will be asked general health questions and
Heather will review any referring practitioner's recommendations.
An assessment of your problem area(s) will be made to determine the
best approach for therapy. The next step is deciding on a plan, which
will focus on the problem area, along with other related sites.
Depending on individual conditions, a series of massages may be recommended.
The appropriate frequency, duration and number of sessions will depend upon
your problem’s severity and how long you’ve had it. Heather addresses each
client’s needs differently in order to provide personalized therapy.
You will be in a secure environment draped with a sheet at all times. Heather
uses a heated table, aromatherapy (unless you don't enjoy scents),
soothing music, candles, a water fountain, soft lighting, and specialized
oils and creams. |
